       Long term disability refers to those kinds of illness or challenges that may permanently disable a person or make him restricted in various daily activities for more than 6 months.

           These disabilities could result due to some critical sickness, serious injury in the body due to some accident or even during pregnancy. These body conditions may be expected to last for years together or even turn fatal in the end.
